Comparing with a national spot-price site? Three things differ: they quote c/kWh where the market quotes €/MWh (a factor of 10), they usually include VAT (Finland 25.5 %), and they average a whole hour where the market now settles every 15 minutes. Example: Finland klo 23–24 today averaged €18.66/MWh = 1.87 c/kWh here, which is the 2.34 c/kWh a Finnish site shows once VAT is added.
Wholesale day-ahead prices from the ENTSO-E Transparency Platform (documentType A44), in euros per megawatt-hour, excluding grid fees, taxes and supplier margin — this is what generators are paid, not what a household pays. Tomorrow's auction clears about 12:45 CET.

- Wholesale day-ahead prices — ENTSO-E Transparency Platform (documentType A44), EUR/MWh per bidding zone. 44 zones; Great Britain, Türkiye, Cyprus and Bosnia publish no day-ahead price here. A zone with nothing for today shows its last published day, marked stale.
- Retail prices — Eurostat half-yearly averages (nrg_pc_204 household band DC, all taxes; nrg_pc_205 non-household band IC, excl. VAT). Static, refreshed twice a year — not live market prices. Not available for CH and GB.
- Countries without live data (GB via ENTSO-E, BG, MK, TR, UA, MT, AL, ME) are omitted rather than faked. Nothing on this page is simulated.
